Experience
the joy of painting from your heart - no pressure, no drawing, no planning,
just pure color and self expression. This workshop is about freeing you up to
tell your story and silencing that voice that says “I can’t paint.” We will do fun exercises
to help you get into the intuitive "zone" and play with marks, shapes
and symbols that will give you clues to what stories want to emerge. We will also
be painting on a 20"x20" canvas, using movement, getting some
distance from the surface and letting go of control. We will experiment with
creative approaches to your paints, tools and starting a painting without
worrying about drawing skills. This workshop is for anyone wanting to learn new
ways to loosen up, jump start your creativity and paint expressively.
